"The Great Wall of China"

"I am not a very articulate person."
The most profoundly used cliche to escape many confrontations.
What is it tht pulls us back from being expressive? Is it the inability to think? Lack of time? Dearth of proper adjectives or words to describe what we feel? Inability to put thought to words? Think again!!!
Maybe its this wall tht we've built around ourselves which we do not want anyone to cross. In three words "Maintain safe distance".
In technical terms a Root Cause Anaysis of the building of this wall would help answer the
question "Why?"
As kids we trusted anyone and everyone from our mom,dad,siblings,grand-parents,friends to
school teachers,the peons,the rickshawalas.
As we grew older we fought with friends,we saw dad fight with mom,mom fought with the maid. This is when mistrust hit our impressionable tender souls.
This was when the wall had started building its foundation. As time flew by each and every experience added or knocked off a brick to/from the wall.
Then came a time when we fell in love.Love swept us off our feet. When love was not returned
the wall around us thickened. And thus the wall was built and nurtured to make the inarticulate persons tht we stand today.
When someone tries to befriend us why does the mind go skeptical.Does he/she have ulterior
motives?
We even fail to give pure, harmless, platonic intentions their true stand.
The bottomline is we have grown fearful.
Afraid of heartaches?
Afraid of deception?
Afraid of failure?
Afraid of rejection?
Afraid of lonliness?
Its a wild world out there with ferocious animals awaiting to tear you down.Let the wall
show its tenacity and density in tht crazy jungle. But when home with loved ones we should dilute the wall to infinitesimil and let vulnearability blossom our ruffled leaves with dewdrops of love and care
